Does anyone know where I can get a Favre Jets jersey? I have called most places in GB with no luck. The Finish Line had some and she said they were gone in no time. The person answering the phone at Shopko said she didn't even think they were going to carry it. I wanted it for the Mon. nite game. Anybody have a suggestion? Thanks, Pat

I live in eau claire, anyone know if there would be a way to see these games on the local CBS here?

William, I go to school in Eau Claire and I don't think it would be possible to get Jets games without NFL Sunday Ticket. WFRV is just too far away.

I wonder how long it will take before my wife files for divorce?

If the Packers begin to lose early on this season, I'll be money that the Jets games garner larger audiences than the Packers games will attract. From a marketing standpoint, the "rubber stamp" board cannot be happy. Given Aaron Rodger's propensity for injury, the misery will begin early and often for three-stooges' loyalists.

Woodson is a aging veteran who needs to be ran out of town too. I guess he was jealous because he got less publicity than Brett.

August 9, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterWoodsonburner

Woodson was a guy who had a better year than our pro bowl CB. What does he have to do with Favre?

August 9, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterRay

Just because Woodson stated that he was glad the team got to move on you want him run out of town? Yeah, that's not stupid at all...

Seeing the picture of Brett's smiling face while talking to Bubba Franks at the Jets preseason game says it all. He looks Happy! I am so grateful to the Jets organization & the State of New York for Welcoming him & his Family with Open ARMS! Also to the all the Sports professionals who have also been so welcoming & supportive. Eli Manning is just a classy human being. His comments on ESPN show us how much Brett is respected. I have been a Packer fan since birth, who hasn't? This legacy we were born into has always stood for Family, the love of the Team & Players and Love of the Game. What was done to Brett & his Family maybe "sold" to the public as good for the team, the city and the state, but that is not how it is viewed in reality. Shame on the Shareholders, the President, the GM and the Coach for not stopping this runaway "Train". It is & always will be known as the "darkest day for the Green Bay Packers". Such a travesty. I will forever be a Packer fan, and will only return when this current situation has been rectified. Change is hard, but hey, life is all about change, so I will learn all I can about the Jets, I have already packed my Packer stuff away until current management is gone, spent $300 on new stuff and just spent $300 on direct tv so I can see every Jets game. GO JETS! GO BRETT!

I hope Brett does well but I am concerned for him. He will likely face a lot of frustrating games just like he did with the Packers a few seasons back, complete with handfuls of interceptions. This hero's welcome he is getting comes with a steep price. A couple of games with 3 to 5 Int's and Jets fans will make him miserable. I really do hope for the best for him but this could end up being devastating for him and his family.

woodson should keep his trap shut!!! we know he was told to say those things so he's not the next brett leaving town. I bet ever player was told to shut up or you will be next. no one had a right to express their opinion. That sounds like a world the anti favre people on this site want to live in NO MORE RIGHTS JUST DO WHAT YOUR TOLD!!!! Wake up you IDIOTS!!!!!!

August 9, 2008 | Unregistered Commentergunny

Everyone has a right for an opinion. It's not the law. Woodson can say what he wants. You may not like it but it's his opinion.

and plus, with all the havoc Brett caused up there, he had a perfectly good explanation of being upset.

The packer front office ran a top 5 QB, future hall of fame QB, team leader,Fan favorite, overall great guy, THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER EVER TO PLAY THE GAME, out of town. It's just stupid to give up the chance at a superbowl so TT MM could make it their team. Period

Gunny - "The packer front office ran a top 5 QB, future hall of fame QB, team leader,Fan favorite, overall great guy, THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER EVER TO PLAY THE GAME, out of town"

Best football player ever to play the game?

Put away the BF Kool-Aid Gunny...great player? Yes, GOAT = No

August 11, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterColin

Colin you dont make sense.

August 12, 2008 | Unregistered Commentergunny

What doesn't make sense.

Brett Favre is NOT the Greatest of all Time (GOAT). He's not the best player to play the game.

Anyone that holds these delusions of grandeur as truths are, well, delusional.

August 14, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterColin

gunny you were right on. He is the gratest player of all time, there is no doubt.

August 14, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterRedskins Fan

Thats Greatest

August 14, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterRedskins Fan

gunny,

Make it their team? It always been their team since they came. It's their job to make the team. Brett was a huge part of it but wasn't all of it.

and like Colin said, he isn't the great football player ever. Best QB? Could be. It's arguable but there are players out there much better then him.

August 14, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterJ-Man

Greatest Ever and it's not close

August 15, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKeep it going

He made everyone around him better, he was surrounded by poor talent in his best years and still won!!!1 That makes him the greatest FOOTBALL player of all time.Hell he played more games than some greats like brown and sayers etc etc. played hurt, played with family stuff, played when he wasnt wanted and not only played but played great. you Favre basher are all Idiots. 1 or 2 more years with brett would have been great. I dont care if they went 8-8 with Favre he was the greatest and we were robbed of a couple more years of that by 3 ego idiots. Why dont you Favre bashers grow up and open up your eyes to what has happen. POLITIC'S IN FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
